  1. You're an amazing Rheumatologist I've been searching for I'm a Physical Therapist based in India & I'm researching on RA. I just have one doubt about whole grains cause I've seen opposite views about bread and wholegrains. So is it beneficial and upto how much extent ?

  4. Sigh…..unfortunately i cant implement most of these, as i also have insoluble fiber intolerant IBS as well as severe bloating thats caused by cruciferous veg as well as onions and garlic (think fodmap). And i cant stand olive oil! I'll happily eat the nuts though! Yum

  5. Excellent information regarding Rheumatoid arthritis , which i just got blessed with At almost 82 yrs of age. It’s like , several months ago, i just woke up with swollen hands and pain.When i went to sleep i had absolutely no problem until i suddenly woke up with it and i would love to know why.No one in my family ever had such an awful painful thing.I stopped smoking 35 yrs ago too. Why did this start out of
    no where .They though i had gout till i had blood work.In retrospect, i think the gout would be better.
    My dad had gout due to his beer drinking but never RA.

    5. Green leafy vegetables, darker the better.
    6. Legumes
    7. Fish with high Omega 3's or supplement version
    8. Nuts 30 grams/day
    9. Chia seeds
    10. Olive oil
    11. Whole grains
    12. Fermented foods
    13. Spices (turmeric, garlic, ginger)
    14. Stress management and exercise

  7. Foods to avoid in RA (if they worsen your symptoms)

    Grains, Legumes, Nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, spices made from peppers, Tobacco too), Dairy, Eggs, Coffee, Alcohol, Nuts and seeds, Processed meats, Refined or processed sugars and oils, Food additives.

Hi dr im new to your channel, very good info, I was diagnosed recently with RA currently under flare dr started methotrexate weekly 6 pills, im a believer in Christ for healing, I believe will take this medication for a short period of time, and will receive wholesome healing through prayer and good discipline to follow strict diet.
