3 exercises for foot pain/arthritis relief!



3 exercises to help foot pain 🦶

With foot arthritis, the 2 main goals are to improve mobility and strength ☝🏽

All three of these moves will also test the coordination of your feet which sometimes can be a bit tricky!

If you don’t get these exercises right away, that’s OKAY! It may take a little time 👀

The muscles in your feet are pretty small and can fatigue quickly, especially if they are weakened ⚠️

Aim for 5-8 reps of each but modify as needed. 2-3 sets may be appropriate.

The best times to do these is when you are seated watching tv or taking a break. When your feet become more and coordinated stable, this is when pain relief can become unlocked ✅

  1. That’s all fine and dandy if you can do these. But how do you get your muscles, reflexes to do these if they aren’t doing them – that is the part we are missing…Is it a matter if your body can’t do these you never will be able to?? Are can your body be taught how to get an arch again?

  2. I have arthritis only in my big toe on the right foot and it doesn't hurt. I wonder what I could do for it anyhow because I can't lift a big toe up without all of the toes coming along for the ride

  3. If we had nutritionists as good as physiotherapists and if our doctors are as half good as them we would not have many health issues. I am not any kind of racist of any kind, but from my experience it takes doctors sometimes years to determine illness while physiotherapist spends 20 min. with a patient and they understand their problems. What is more, prescription pills makes person feel better but don't cure the illness or a cause while exercises from physiotherapist start helping immediately if done properly by a patient. To top it up there are many bacteria resistant to antibiotics that doctors are just waiting for you to die and hospitals don't admit you unless you are actually dying. In those cases person's only chance is a physiotherapy exercises to help improve immune system to fight against bacteria.

  4. God how much I hate feet…. especially mine.
    I think that is the reason why my multiple sclerosis affect my legs…and why I dont progress well🙄🤣.
    Whats worse is seeing those toe fungus commercials….

    DO YOUR STRETCHES, YOGA, SLEEP, EAT RIGHT AND DONT GIVE UP!

  5. This really works for more than arthritis. Also good for other types of foot pain and fallen arches. Many of our foot problems nowadays are due to modern footwear immobilizing our feet and ankles. Getting some movement and building some strength does a lot to relieve pain and improve balance and mobility as well!

  6. These excercises that are for the elderly that you do are really VERY GOOD. IM having trouble with my spine having kyphosis which is keeping me from being able to keep my balance whenI walk so any help you can offer people like me would be much appreciated, thanks again and keep up the good work 👏 😊,

  7. thanks so much!!! I've been struggling since my ankle surgery. I'm mostly recovered. I can run 5 miles, but with a limp. I hope to get another 5° or so of mobility. I really appreciate your "get to the point" style!!!
