Fasting works for RA. I got C19 in March 2020 which resulted in almost 2 days of no eating followed by 2 days of minimal food. By the end my RA was completely gone. First meal after was a high fiber cereal and daily broccoli and mushroom consumption is strongly recommended, along with 1,000 – 2,000 IU of vitamin D, which is anti-inflammatory. Maintenance mini fast of 16 – 18 hours twice a week for the next year and exercise with light weights or walk as much as you can. After nearly 6 years it hasn't returned. It's 100% gone.
According to this, fasting does nothing for OA. She basically said that the only way to reduce OA pain is by losing weight.
That can be done without fasting i.e a calorie deficit.
"Ramadon"?? – this is America!
Well explained Dr Diana ..
Is fasting solely on buttermilk helps arthritis??
Does this apply to AS as well?
Go carnivore diet. It's the carbs which causing all these inflammations. Watch oxolate dumping, toxic superfood, Anthony chaffee
It works! The only thing that works for me.
I really have to be careful with what I eat. When I eat certain things it triggers flare ups.
Psoriasis and PSA here…doing it all : fasting 16/8, AIP diet, supplements….the sum of it all makes it work !
Since 2007 i am suffering with chronic psoriatic arthritis, i tried everything but my hand and feet joints deshaped, 15 days ago i changed my diet to zero carb and my pain killer went from 4 a day to one. 5 days ago i started 24 hrs fast with bone broth and carnivorous diet, the first day my pain vanished, today was my 5th day of fast with no tablet, feeling some less swelling in my fingers and better walking mobility. Praying to get my deshaped fingers of feet and hand to work again.
This is OUTSTANDING. The Bible says fasting for evil spirits. I believe fasting is for the evil food attacking the body. God bless you Dr. ❤
Dr. I would rather not eat at all. I have severe psoriatic arthritis. I tried Wegovvy and realized at that time eating less and fasting is a winner.
Hey dr also I have this pain when I was young now my age is 23 years old and still I was sick today I need your advice pls
Thank you for this video dr.
I am currently doing a 3 day fast. Trying to reduce my inflammation I have horrible Sjorgrens. Then I may do a 5 day juice fast afterwards. My first time doing this for this long.
Excellent video. I’m going to try this for generalised inflammation and weight loss. Thank you Dr Girnita.
I did 20/4 as it completely sets the immune system because you create new blood cells .I lost 100 pounds and felt amazing .I have thought seriously about going back on it so this was my sign .
Yes. when I intermittent fasting with low carbohydrates,my arthritis is gone. Usually 18 hours no food and 6 hours for 2 meals. No snacks. My glucose go down too.
This should be shown in every retirement home!
Any success with fasting with Ankylosing Spondylitis?
i dont belive it
IF has been a miracle for me! Thanks for vindicating my theory that this has helped me 🙂 The only problem is that I don't fast on the weekends and my husband likes to eat cheat meals, by Sunday afternoon I am a mess again. Hands and fingers hurt, toes and knees hurt, and I have to start all over again on Monday. I am going to fast 7 days a week.
Awesome video ❤!!!!
