  1. Thank you for these!! RA is the closest thing that describes my symptoms. I am 28 and I've been having gradually increasing problems for 4 years now. It has substantially increased this past year, the last 6 months have become unbearable and affect my whole body now, not my hands like it has in the past. The burning in my hands and wrists literally immobilizez usage when using my hands. I get schocking sensations when grabbing things, as well as numbness in my first 2 fingers and the bottoms of my feet and toes. I have weakened grip and constant pain, it never ends. The past 6 months my feet swell and hardly ever subside, waking up I can hardly walk, that's if I even have the energy to get up cause it seems like I am always super fatigued and my mood changes on a dime. I will have Extreme pain in my lower back, my eyes will randomly become bloodshot, and my lungs feels like they have shrunken up. My chest hurts with deep breaths or stretching. I have lost 20 pounds this month and a total of 40 pounds total this year. There is so much more but I think you can understand me better than anyone else. My stress levels have probably greatly attributed I'm sure. Knowing that I don't have the means to do anything about my stress or the financial ability to see a doctor is frustrating. The worst part is not being as active as I want with my kids! Crazy how a single good intentioned bad choice can effectively ruin one's life. Would have had my law degree by now. People like you who work to help people who suffer are what the world needs more of. Thank you for the info!!

  2. Great work! May I ask you please to clarify the effects of nsaids on platelets aggregation? What I know is that nsaids like aspirin and other non-selective nsaids decrease the risk of thrombus formation due to their inhibitory mechanism of cox1 and thromboxane a2 as well.

  3. I literally love this guy… Even being a commerce graduate, I understand every words of him (on repeated listening though)
His explanations take over all my worries… I don't need to wander here and there for any updates and learnings for any kind of dis-ease… Finally you won my heart… I've subscribed to your channel

  4. I am not a medical student, nor do I play one on tv, but I am so happy to have found your videos. I am a 52 yr old active woman. I have been suffering since July with symptoms that started after waking one morning with swollen hands and very sore forearms. I thought I had suffered a sports injury during my last CrossFit workout. The symptoms were manageable for some time with Advil, but continued to progress to the point where I was unable to lift my shirt off over my head. It seems to be traveling to both sides. Most times mirroring. Nerve pain in my fatty lower thumb tissue, swollen fingers, horrible shoulder pain, cracking noises in my wrists (2 x-rays done…nothing), moves from one elbow to the other and now my right knee. I am starting my third week of steroids, stepping down over eight weeks and started at 20 milligrams. With each step down I can feel the increasing inflammation and pain returning in my hands and some cracking noises in my elbows. This is my third round of steroids and still no answers. The first two rounds were 5 days of step down. My RA factor was 64 at my last blood draw. Any advice…anyone? I’m desperate to get my life back and very anxious about the effects the steroids are having on my body. Thank you in advance, and thank you for your videos. I am learning so much and your humor makes it all the more relatable.
