Cervical Epidural Injection For Neck Relief

#neckpain #neckpainrelief #cervicalpain #painmanagement

Cervical epidural is a minimally invasive procedure that can be performed in the outpatient setting without sedation. It uses very fine needles to inject medication into the epidural space. The injection of medication may increase pain relief, decrease swelling and shorten recovery time.

  1. I do this every few months for spinal stenosis, I have it in my neck and back, but only get injections in my neck… the doctor who does it now is my f*cking hero, it takes him less than 5 minutes, and it’s usually painless, and the relief is unbelievable, and helps for a lengthy amount of time. I always tell him that “you’re my earth angel”!

I had a doctor do it before I met him, and that guy was a freaking nightmare, would take 30+ minutes to find the “sweet spot” and then it hurt like hell and all its demons! I am so grateful to have found someone who knows what the heck they’re doing!

    Much love Dr. Hazenfield!

  2. I got this done today. I did it without sedation and he did it on both sides of my neck. It definitely hurt once they got into the spine and the push of the injection was one of the weirdest feeling parts because you feel the liquid come out of the needle. Other than that it feels moderately /painful uncomfortable as they push in bit by bit. Definitely doesn't need to be done with sedation unless you have a massive fear of needles. Still hurts far less than having an IUD inserted.

  3. Had it Performed Yesterday , Guess what the Professional Doctor was from GAZA Didn't feel the Pricking today felt much better after 07 year's of Cervical Instability C5 C6 C7 Neck downwards with severe Headaches night long , what He made me understand for Cervical Spondylosis the effects goes Down the shoulder blades and the Rotors He says for this session let's do Part of the Shoulders L/R and the Neck we have more Sittings Down the Spine next coming Days feeling Great Already 😊

  4. I’ve had it down twice in my lower back. The 1st time I was sedated, as I was coming out of the sedation I could feel where they stuck the needle into the never, it was painful for about 5 minutes. The medicine that was injected did not last two weeks. The 2nd one I had done, no sedation. When the needle hit that never and the medication was going in, I had to ask for the doctor to stop for a second. It was painful, he finished up. I was glad it was over.

The procedure doesn’t take long, maybe 10 minutes. It only hurts for a couple of minutes. Once the doctor is done, I’m a little sore, nothing bad at all.

These injections have truly given me back my life.

  5. It dont hurt at all I was scared to get it at first but once i got it done it was a peace of cake I I did mine 2 times and feel so much better the only pain u have is after getting it done and its not that much of bad pain its mild

  7. Not painless and doesn’t give relief at all. 10 years of this shite authorities of the HHS dept of our government regulates we pain patients have these injections so that we can receive pain meds, absolutely useless and with FM for 30 years and chronic headaches and pain all over, this is not helping.

  8. I am waiting to have this done bilaterally. I had an ACDF with Corpectomy several years ago and a PCDF/Laminectomy about a year ago. Will it be more challenging since I have lots of hardware? Also, I will only have local anesthetic, so I'm concerned if I have muscle spasms during this procedure. Is that a big concern?

  9. ESIs (Epidural Steroid Injection) are dangerous and not very effective. They cause spine degeneration and can affect your brain. They give you temporary relief and permanent health problems. Most doctors don’t even tell their patients it’s NOT FDA APPROVED

Can epidural steroid injections affect you mentally?
