Is there not an operation, where you get a artificial disc in, without the plate?
Seek chiropractic care first screw these people
These animations are incredible.
Anyone knows how they are made?
I would never plate fuse my neck together like this, less movement and additional pressure on everything else.
Where did you get this beautiful graphic? Is it copyright free?
I think it's high risk
The problem with this is that it will lead to more spine surgeries.
Awesome
❤❤❤❤
I understand that sometimes surgery is the only thing that will help but it should only be a last option after going to a good chiropractor or osteopath for manual manipulations.
I have mild posterocentral protusion indenting thecal sac & small disc bulge from 1 year 3 months, what can I do??
consider trying the following before surgery.
because doctors don’t know. look into the following peptides. Bpc-157, tb-500, ghk-cu, for healing and ara-290 for nerve damage
take collagen peptides. If you live close to a planet fitness sign up for the premium membership and go there twice a day and use the Hydro Masauge. take a high-quality natural vitamin.
What about heat and cold weather I’ve herd people who have metal put in them that they go through pain with temperature changes they can feel it in surgery areas
The acronym CERn, when used in a genetics context, likely refers to the Spastic Paraplegia–Centers of Excellence Research Network (SP-CERN), which focuses on research and clinical trials related to hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP). It is not related to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), although CERN does have a role in genomic research.
In summary, while both SP-CERN and CERN are involved in research, SP-CERN is focused on a specific genetic disorder (HSP), while CERN's genomic research is broader and intersects with its work in particle physics.
This is such an old method of surgery. Old surgeons still trying to make a buck before they hang the boots up. Not ethical!
Move on from this surgery there are a lot more viable options available now.
Bull shit
Terrible design!
So basically spinal osteoarthritis is curable. That's actually really cool.
Ronnie Coleman is proof of how well all the surgeries have given him a new opportunity to lift light weight
There is a better way to help stenosis, ultrasonic removal of the arthritic bone that is closing up the canal where the nerves run. It doesn’t damage the nerves and only removes the bone required, creating no instability. Doctor in Florida has videos and hundreds of testimonials from his patients
Unfortunately when the vertebrae is essentially frozen in place from this surgery, the rest of the disc compensate for the non movement.
This in-turn does exactly the opposite and after a matter of time you have degenerate disc's above and below and so the cycle continues. 😢
I have three plates now. Which used to be one, then two and finally three. Unfortunately we lose a lot of mobility and the movement is transferred to above or below. Now for C7/T1, I get nerve ablations or burning the nerve. But I hear now Texas has been doing multiple level artificial joint replacement. I would have liked to have had that option back in the day. But it was only apparently approved for young people. The plate system solves an immediate problem of radiating pain but years down the road it causes problems above and below. And after 2-3 plates there is just a sore neck or axial pain. The neck is made to move.
😰😰😰😰
I have back pain and neck pain in my entire life. Been talked to the Doctors but only take "alvedon" swedish miracle medicine. All my joints are hurting but doctors here in Sweden do nothing to find why this is happening. Just take the freaking sugar pill alvedon
Newer methods include a needle with cutters and a small vacuum tube, to cut off the part of a disc next to the nerve. But most people should swim for natural decompression (you strive to get taller when you swim). This natural traction allows the discs more room to not crowd the nerve. Yumeiho therapy does this on the level of individual discs.

No more MRIs after that
NEVER do this!
Lets pray for eachother because miracles happen ,god helps us and prayers will be answered at the right time 🙏🏻
But it causes long-term, painful effects at C4 and C7
Ahhh…definitely helped tremendously for a while, but Adjacent Disc Syndrome is legit a BIG consideration. Had 3 levels fused and now need another above AND below
🤷♀️ Don’t want to do anything yet
This animation is accurate
