❇️Hip Arthritis Exercises❇️

☑️Realistically any exercises that are done for an OA hip can be beneficial. There are certainly some that may be too provocative and some that are certainly more sustainable.

📕Often hips with OA will have an impairment to their function and notably this presents in the remit of a reduction in ROM, normally hip rotational index and flex……and abduction. Trying to stretch that hip in angles and ranges that is morphologically is more impaired to do will likely exacerbate surround periarticular structures and soft tissues.

🔗Simple exercises like this I commonly dish out and patients find useful. Easy to do, working within allowed ranges of movement and not to end ranges and equally easier to keep consistent!
