Simple movements REALLY add up ✅
Your joints are craving movement. But not all movement is the same. It’s important to find movements that feel good to you, especially when dealing with arthritis ☝🏽
When you’re waiting on something to cook, tea to boil, coffee to brew, it can be the PERFECT time to incorporate side or backwards steps to help support the hip and knee joints ✨
Moving in different directions can be helpful in activating other muscles, muscles that are vital to support the joints and are different than those typically worked in forwards walking 🙌🏼
When watching TV, there are many options for seated exercises, especially if your joints get stiff. Adding in 10-20 repetitions every 30-60 minutes can be a good place to start for most 🎉
When getting out of bed, joints can be really stiff. Add in seated or standing exercises to lubricate the joints so the first few steps aren’t as tough ✅
The exercise at the bed I’m demonstrating is a good one to loosen up the hips 👏🏼
Little movements during the day can really add up‼️

It really is 'one day at a time' Maybe 'one moment at a time? So, we take it slowly, but we will finish in the end!
Squeezing glutes may work much easier ,if you have SEVERE Arthritis through whole body . It is harder if you need hip surgery on one side and knee needs to be done on another, you must be careful how much you move. In all things do what feels good to you and never over stretch or over bend knees, or anything else, if they are affected. Depends on the amount of arthritis and how long you have had it but some exercise is important, of course. . If not , you will stiffen much more. TY for vlog
Love your content ❤
Great job. Love dr. Alyssa

Such small movements are encouraging for us to try. Most exercise 'help' for seniors is too fast and done by young people who have never suffered. These short snips are perfect. Thank you. (UK)

New sub here. Recently diagnosed with toe arthritis. I have fibromyalgia too. Pain lately is everwhere from occipital nerve pain to lower back and beyond. Going tomorrow for my second physical therapy appointment. I look for useful videos to help me cope. Have done some of these you demonstrate here. Anything to get me moving.
