Lumbar facet joint syndrome✨

These exercises offer a way to relieve pain and enhance mobility by strengthening the spine so you don’t have to rely on medication or surgical interventions. You can address the symptoms and identify the condition’s root causes. 

Dr Mel provides you with simple effective exercises to start with:

1. Pelvic Tilt 

Pelvic tilts lie on your back with your knees bent. And your feet flat on the floor tighten your abdominal muscles and push your lower back into the floor. Repeat 10 times.

2. Bridges

 Lie on your back with your knees bent. Tighten the muscles in your stomach. Raise your hips off the floor until they line up with your knees and shoulders. Be sure that your hips are level and you squeeze your glutes as your lift. Hold for three deep breaths or 3-5 seconds. Return to the starting position lowering one vertebrae at a time and repeat 10 times. 

3. Knee to chest stretch 

Bend your right knee and hug your knee towards your chest, placing hands on your right leg. Then breath deeply and hold this position for 30 seconds perform on both sides.
