Thumb Arthritis Symptoms, Causes, and Treatment

Arthritis at the joint at the base of the thumb, or the carpalmetacarpal (CMC) joint is very common. When osteoarthritis occurs at this joint, the cartilage begins to wear down creating painful bone on bone friction. That joint is important to move your thumb from side to side as well as up and down.

Conservative treatment options include activity modification, taking NSAIDs, steroid injections, physical therapy, and bracing. When those treatments no longer relieve the thumb pain, surgery may be necessary.

When thumb pain starts affecting your day to day life, see an orthopedic hand surgeon it is a good time to seek treatment.

  1. Reverse Tendonitis and Arthritis via a naturopathic process..

I'm James. I am a 30 year old man and I wish to give a detailed narration of how I was able to overcome osteoarthritis in the hips via traditional, herbal means. Prior to this herbal remedy – I had been a man who had suffered a great deal from this degenerative disease and of which had completely restricted me from being competitive in most bodily tasks life had presented. It was as if I had been confined to a wheelchair – as I had always experienced throbbing pains in my hip and pelvic areas. I had stopped working, as the pain had become excruciating I was confined only within the walls of my home. The mode of treatment and dietary requirements I had been placed on by my doctor in US were not favorable in improving my condition for better. I was at a complete loss and as I was not prepared to undergo a hip replacement surgery. The great risks involved were as followed.

This whole depressing experience with this disease had persisted for a longer period of time and I was completely a broken man. All I had wanted was to be freed from this ordeal, to overcome my arthritic pains without any consequence involved. I had only one consolation –  as long as there was life, there was still hope. I never gave up on the search  for a positive remedy for this disease. It was during my extensive research that I was exposed to the professional herbal works of Dr. Ichie Arinze of Greenlife Herbal Home. The said doctor is responsible for my recovery from this degenerative disease referred to as osteoarthritis. I had seen some testimonial articles on the net in relation with the professional, herbal standards of this African herbalist Dr. Ichie Arinze and his successful theories in healing arthritis naturally. There was a testimonial article shared by a woman about this herbalist assisting her overcome her lupus and osteoarthritis in the most natural way. I was elated in receiving the news as I could clearly relate to the woman who had pictured her health problems in the shared testimonial. I decided to inquire more about healing osteoarthritis naturally, and I contacted this herbal specialist for an elaboration regarding this natural remedy for osteoarthritis. I was very pleased at the doctor's hospitality in wanting to help me beat this disease naturally. With a given illustration of the possibility of reversing the disease naturally the herbalist administered some herbs of which I had used in a little period of time before my absolute recovery had set in. The arthritic pains which I had experienced in my hip areas became less frequent on the second week of using this herbal remedy. In some few more days the arthritic pains had completely ceased to occur and thus, free movement of the hip without difficulty became possible once more again.

I am now completely free from arthritic pains as a result of trying this natural remedy to a successful extent. I wish to use this opportunity to reach out to anyone facing any similar health problem or the other to find a confidant like Dr. Ichie Arinze in overcoming their health problems. For more reliable communication in accordance with natural remedies for arthritis you can contact Dr. Ichie Arinze directly via his WhatsApp number. 3. I dunno whether its arthritis or carpal tunnel or both but my thumb has been messed up for years. I cant even brush my teeth with that hand or hold anything withoutvit hurting.. is like the tendon there is rubbing on something and everytime it goes from left to right it hurts so bad i drop whatever is in the hand and have to let it alone for a while for it to stop throbbing. Xrays showed a little arthritis and nothing broken. Mri is up in a few months.. sucks also because im a builder and work with my hands on everything.. only 37..

  4. Try Turmeric/pepper/ginger 300mg with something fatty like whole milk. My swelling subsided and 90% of the pain is gone after 4-6 weeks. If I sink the costco tumeric for 2-3 days the pain comes back

  5. I'm on disability for a severe chronic venous insufficiency after 2019 it just got the best of me in Arkansas you have to make three times the amount of money to even rent an apartment so I just reached out and got a part-time job I hadn't worked in 5 years now all the stuff that was going on with my legs is coming all back again I'm getting rash all around and I've looked at the stages of chronic venous insufficiency. And I was told a couple years ago by my primary doctor that I had carpal tunnel what I'm doing part-time involves me using my right hand constantly this video is just got me in a whirlwind because that's all I do with my hand is I put clothes on hangers and hang up clothes on hangers and hang on my not primary doctor just retired about 6 months ago does anyone know what type of gas or I would go to to see for my thumb and my hand is it is a severe pain especially when I'm having to use it

  6. i have had a stiff thumb and lots of pain for over a month and it's ruining my life, i never knew how much i needed my thumb to do things and if i even try to bend it it will dislocate and i have to bend it back in place. No idea how this happened but i do a lot of driving and i tend to grip the steering wheel tight, causing numbness in my hands, maybe it's related?

  7. I have that brace ==> 00:42 I also got the steroid injection. That was the worse pain I've ever had in my life and I've had all my joints replaced and had children. Horrible. I had a reaction to the shot on the way home and made the pain at level 12 shoot me now. IT took awhile for it to settle down and now a year later the shot has worn off. I'm terrified of getting the shot again. That is something they should put you under for.

  8. Two nearly useless thumbs, doctors that just fob it off as"" your been a big cry baby, trying to hold tools without using the thums is difficult, gave up on doctors thay just throw pills at it that dont work, i keep forgetting that only people dripping in gold and money get the best treatment, must remember to work slower, you know safety first 😑🧐🤔

  9. Wow, This is exactly what I am experiencing but it only happened after a full time job and a head on 100 mph head on crash … can the crash cause a sprain or something in the joint and have inflammation that isn't really one of the arthritis?
