Dr. Jeff Peng recommends three primary supplements for mitigating arthritis symptoms: Boswellia serrata, Turmeric and curcumin, and glucosamine chondroitin.
► Things my patients have found helpful:
Please note that I get a lot of requests and questions about what equipment is ‘best’ for treating a variety of conditions. The following is not meant to be an exhaustive or definitive list. Please use it as a starting point. If you have questions, please discuss with your healthcare provider. With that said, I have tried a number of the products below, but not all. I have included some based on positive feedback from many of my patients. As an Amazon Associate, Dr Peng earns from qualifying purchases. I love how he actually gives you the information instead of directing you to a personal website where you'll pay money for the info😤
Drink tart cherry juice
My dad suffering that
Excellent video from a retired internal medicine physician. The supplement industry is like the “wild Wild West” and you explained everything well and provided some legitimate references and exact brand recommendations.
Docotors know nothing about supplements they do not want to fix the problem they will look at u loke unare a fool
Osteio bo-flex hasglucomine hci, Boswell, and msm
I take Nutrilite Glucosamine which is purely organic plant based vitamin and do not suffer anymore pain in all joints 😀
what is the problem in head like lack of tissue or joints like that?
I am a 82 yr. old male and am going to start turmeric and Boswellia, if interested I will keep you informed
Hi, my turmeric, which I get for free through Medicare claims to be 3rd party tested. Is that sufficient for quality? Also, it does not contain pepper, is it ok to just take the pills with some pepper?
I'm amazed turmeric is constantly talked about as an anti-inflammatory for arthritis when it's such a high oxalate food. Removing or at least, reducing significantly, the high oxalate foods in the diet is incredibly helpful at stopping arthritic flares.
Thank you. I took notes.
Planet Ayurveda Bone Support capsules are a natural way to support strong bones.
Dr. Peng, Is it recommended avoid Boswellia and Curcumin during treatment and recovery from PRP and Shockwave? You mention in the video they have a similar mechanism to NSAIDs.
Turmeric in high doses causes kidney stones
I take all 3 supplements, have done for a long time. No idea if they work, but I don’t want to feel any worse by not taking them!! 😂
Thank you💖
THANK YOU DOCTOR!
I SUFFER FROM RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND OSTEOARTHRITIS
Thank You So Much 🙏❤️
I will check the first two out because the third one just gave me more pain 😬
The prices of to these Thorne Herbs make them unaffordable.
I have a tear meniscus and ACL for second time cant surf or run , my knee sometimes get locked and a lot of noises but before surgery I wanna make more stronger my quadriceps and take supplements before surgery. I started with BPC-157 , Glucosamine , HCI with MSM , 3 weeks ago and the pain after working for 6-8 hours is less and less inflammation in my baker cyst.

There's something about the way my body metabolizes drugs that makes oral pain meds almost completely useless. Among other things, I've tried Lyrica, gabapentin, tramadol, and morphine. None of them seemed to make any difference, so I just stopped taking them.
NSAIDS and turmeric consistently leave me with bleeding problems after a week or two of use.
Glucosamine and condroitin consistently makes a positive difference in my level of pain for severe knee OA. If I skip it, I start feeling the difference in about two days.
Exercise is the most effective medicine. When I exercise, it hurts, but it helps manage my pain. When Im lazy, it soon starts hurting much worse. Punishing exercises for my back got it to a point where it feels bulletproof, even though I have 2 collapsed discs and other issues.
Doctor can I take all 3 ? My knees are killing me
