  1. man what do you do if you have this problem in your thoracic spine higher up at t2 or t4? wveryone pays attention to the lumbar but no one cares if you have this in your thoracic. i do and it never goes away. i can sot and do all the chin tucks and scared cat sretches till im blue in the face and it never gets better😢

  2. I had this aweful pain in the middle of my back going around my ribs since I was in my mid 20s. I went to the gym and weighed 120-130 back then. Doctor said it was anxiety, like you have got to be kidding me, when it first happened it was excruciating. Now I am 49, my primary doctor gave me lidocaine shots that did nothing and also started hinting at "anxiety" 🙄. I made an appointment with a spine specialist on my own, thank God my insurance doesn't require a referral. They did an MRI that shows facet disease and a pinched nerve and bilateral edema and hemangioma. I got a nerve block earlier today and for the first time in years I cant feel my muscles cramping in my ribs and I don't feel like I've been shot in the back…

  3. This perfectly describes my pain situation. It’s very localized and never affects my legs. 50+ years ago I fractured L1 and L3 in an accident and I’ve suspected for a long time now that the area has become arthritic. The only variation is that I have a big problem with very slight forward leaning while standing such as when washing my hands at the sink or reaching for something on the table and standing in general for any length of time is bad. I’m mostly fine walking. Thanks for the awesome presentation.

  4. Hey guys, I've been struggling with sever lumbar pain for about a year now. Was first diagnosed as spinal stenosis and got a epidural. That did not help. Today I just got back from same office and was told it was Arthropathy of lumbar facet joint. M47. 816: Spondylosis without myelopathy or radiculopathy. lumbar region. I have low level pain and stiffness especially in the morning. I also have very severe pain usually from getting up from a sitting position, getting in and out of a car and at times as I go to lie down. It's like if a extended ladder slipped a rung and crashed to the next rung. It's excruciating and is happening several times a day now. I can pinpoint exactly where the pain is. I have no radiating leg or buttock's pain. Any chance you guys would explain to me what is going on?

  5. My X-ray just showed facet joint syndrome in L4 L5 and S1.
My symptoms are quite the opposite, it hurts to sit for long, I feel better when I walk around, but standing in one spot will start hurting. I just got a medial branch block done yesterday, hoping, and praying it works!

  6. I’m 22 and have had this for a year and a half on my left side. Also have sciatica down my right hamstring. Spent months in PT, getting MRIs and seeing a spine specialist and my symptoms have only gotten worse. I’m broke after spending thousands and as you could imagine I ran through my savings trying to fix it with doctors. Been trying to save more money to get a 2nd opinion with a different organization. I used to run half marathons and could put up very respectable numbers powerlifting, but now I’m just a cripple. After running out of money for PT last year I fell into depression and binge drank for a few months. Fortunately my GF and homies helped me out and I’ve started coming to terms with myself over the last couple months. I’ve been dedicating all my free time to researching and testing anything and everything that might help. Wish me luck internet, I really don’t want to live the rest of my life like this.

  7. Finally. Makes total sense. It's either facet syndrome or spinal stenosis, but it started with carrying a heavy object. Moving forward and sitting is relieving. Walking is excruciating and leading to muscle spasms.

  8. How do you get the anonymous person who reads your imaging to look just 2 INCHES TO THE LEFT! Sorry. These techs refuse to look beyond the vertebra and Drs refuse to look at anything but the report that someone, whose never met me, has written with ZERO context. What imaging for facet and the nerves there do I need to ask for? I've been doing this for 10 years, I have lost everything, and I am still stuck in the same place. I'm bedridden at 50 and I can tell I'm about to turn a corner that I'll never come back from. And if they think I'll spend another 10 years in "rolling around on the ground" pain, 24/7, they thought wrong. I'm making one last push to save myself but the tank is empty and I've got nothing left. They're already doing the "well get plenty of exercise and make some friends" treatment. So ridiculous.

  9. Solutions to fix please, tired of suffering, almost bedridden. Already have had 3 rounds of epidural injections and RFA abrasions. Then pain medication that caused other problems with digestive system, constipation, nerogenic bowels
