  1. I was diagnosed with RA in the late 80s when I was in my 20s. I had a severe RA attack in my ankles and a high RF. A few years later, I was told it was in remission–though I still had joint pain through the years. During the past few years, I've had pain and awful spasms in both feet, including what feels like balloons with rocks in them in the ball of the feet. A podiatrist thought it was Morton's Neuroma. He ordered MRIs of both feet, which revealed arthritis in several bones in the feet with cysts in the bones and cartilage loss. I'm not sure if this is RA coming back or osteoarthritis. Also, I have symptoms of Sjogren's syndrome. My doctor ran an autoimmune panel and everything came back normal. It's baffling. I'm trying to get a referral to rheumatology.

  3. Such a clear breakdown! You and I might know someone silently struggling with these exact symptoms. I’m curious—how often do you see misdiagnoses in early-stage foot arthritis?
Would love to hear more real cases from your experience.

  7. I have arthritis, bunions, hammer toe, I wore high heels 20 years ago, and muscle spasms in my feet, toes, and calves, it’s very painful. Applying castor oil all over has helped tremendously, I also have chronic hives, allergies, sinusitis and it has helped these conditions too. My mom has these issues, she had bunion surgery and it did not work well ir last. Castor oil for everything 🙏🏽

  8. I suffer from herniated discs in the lower back and neck and live with chronic pain nearly every single day. Diagnosed with fibromyalgia as well. About one month and a half ago I started feeling my right toe hurt pretty badly. Got two injections as both podiatrists I saw thought it was a bunion and the other thinks it's Morton's neuroma. The injections did not a thing for me. I requested an xray. Xray states mild degeneration of big toe. I got the orthotics specifically designed for my feet. Podiatrist one now says it's arthritis. I'm heading back to physical therapy for my second session this weekend. Living with constant pain is no joke. 😢
