Work This ONE Muscle for Thumb Arthritis Pain Relief! 🔥

Follow along with Michelle as she guides you through 3 thumb arthritis strengthening exercises using 1 KEY stabilizing thumb muscle.

This muscle is your 1st dorsal interosseous (aka interossei) and it has a large attachment on your thumb. And when you strengthen it, it not only stabilizes your thumb, making it less painful when you grip, pinch or carry objects, but it can also help increase the strength of your whole hand.

This routine will include 3 strengthening exercises starting with active movement to make sure you are targeting your 1st dorsal interossei correctly, then we will add a little more difficulty by including the thumb, and add isometric resistance.

It’s important to mention you may need to spend some time on each exercise before you progress to the next. You don’t want to do these if they are painful or difficult to do. There are modifications to make them more comfortable but still effective.

We are going to do 10 repetitions of each exercise. No equipment is required.

  1. Thank you! I only got 2 exercises on my video? I’m a RHD ER physician recently DX with Pain secondary to OA of the Trapezium – 1st metacarpal. I’ve just had 1 injection under fluoroscopy which did help + a small amount of topical Votaren placed over the effected area + covered by a small Icyhot type hand patch + Velcro radial splint at night. I want to delay surgery for as long as possible.

  2. After I gave up coffee for causing arthritic inflammation, I needed to eliminate the residual joint aches and that was solved by taking a small, 5 to 7 cents cost, capsule of copper gluconate with a generous drink of water which ended the pain in one hour. This is NOT COMPLICATED. The copper capsule will do it EVERY TIME. Now I rarely need to use the copper capsule because the ache has been CURED.

  3. I don't know how I came across you. But after getting done practicing, that's my instrument of choice. I do have a chronic some Arthritis problem. I took a shot and I've passed this exercises on that. I caught on the video yesterday. So all my friends with the same issues and we're all thanking you❤❤❤❤

  4. I’ve had some big injuries to my thumbs from tripping and falling, using my hands/thumbs to break the falls. My thumbs are a wreck from connective tissue damage. I’ll follow your exercises.
