  1. You injecting those Steroid shots long terms will weaken the tendons and be prone to injury later on in life. I don’t know why you don’t ask your patients to try PRP or regenerative medicine. You’re just masking the problem.

  2. I just had this done the other day. I had a local anesthetic first, then didn't feel it when the doctor drained four syringes worth of synovial fluid out first before injecting the cortisone. The instant relief of the built up pressure was great. My knee still has some underlying issues that will probably need addressing, but the agony has gone and I'm weening off the codeine over next few days. At least I can sleep normally again. I was pretty anxious in the beginning but the lovely nurse assured me that it wouldn't be much pain at all, and she was right. The doctor was awesome and showed me on the screen the large dark void of fluid. I'm happy that me pain is gone for xmas.
