  2. It works along with low carb diets. (I do vegetarian keto). I'm 30 and I used a cane for my arthritis for most of my adult life and now I hardly use it, just when I go down stairs because I have to (left knee joint is disfunctional)

I eat a ton of curry if anyone wants to know. Here's the thing, I always have. It isn't until I went low carb that I noticed a huge difference. But now I crave turmeric and ginger like crazy.

  3. Difficult to know how many MG as it appears to be the curcumin which helps, and the amounts online when buying is confusing for eg my wife now has some which is supposedly 1000mg BUT it then says per curcumin included is per 60mg…also contains Vit D. Then studies or experts say we need 3 mg per kg weight…anyway, it is also to be closest (naturally speaking) to steroids. Just hope we have dosage correct. The best stuff can also be expensive and ordinary turmeric for cooking ie powder hardly contains the required curcumin!

  4. I have yet to find tumeric from India that does not have lead in it. Google all the information out there about high lead levels as well as lead poisoning in that part of the world. I get tumeric from a company out of Georgia called American Tumeric. I am not associated with them in any way, other than buying their products. Do your lead research on curcumin supplements as well. Tumeric definitely helps me. I went off of it at one point and regretted it. Thanks for the video.

  5. Turmeric has been the only thing that actually helped my joint pain. And it helped significantly. The only problem is 24 hours after taking I get a terrible headache and it doesn't go away until i stop taking turmeric. If tried going with a better brand, expensive brand, etc etc. Still terrible headache. So it's very disheartening to know relief is possible but not. Anybody else had this problem?

  6. Add me to the list of people who have been helped by taking turmeric! My pain level went from 8 (on a scale of 1 to 10) down to anywhere from 0 to 2, depending on the day! I was able to get off of way too much ibuprofen. So happy! 🙂

  7. You speak of turmeric and subfraction, curcumin, as though turmeric's remaining 97% is scarcely worthy of note.
Yet, researchers tested turmeric after curcumin had been extracted, and were surprised the curcumin-frew turmeric had benefits matching curcumin.

  8. If the new studies look at 2 drinks per day for women, 3 drinks for men, wouldn't that be 14 drinks per week for women, 21 per week for men?

And didn't the USDA come out with recommendations of even less for health – for men, less than 2/day and 1/day for women at most?

And believe me, I trust and support the government's health recommendations about as much as I love cancer.

Just confused about some of the BS announced about alcohol every couple of years throughout my lifetime. How is it possible there is so little agreement among studies? Lol.

There is a crazy amount of variation depending on the year, the particular researchers, the country, etc. Hard to count on any of them as reliable. Just wait 3 min and another one will come along and contradict the one you trust now, it feels like. Ugh.

  9. I take a teaspoon of turmeric powder with a nice pinch of pepper, add 2 teaspoons of olive oil, mix it and take it orally with a couple sips of water – I don't want to take it in pill form, as I am on a tight budget – do you think I am taking it correctly – your comments would be greatly appreciated – Cheers from Canada 🍁

  10. I've taken turmeric for months and it didn't help with my chronic joint pain at all. I tried the second one on your list too.

So why doesn't it help some people? Even ibuprofen 800mg doesn't help.

  11. Thanks for another fantastic video. Turmeric has become very popular now. It decreases pain for sure. I find even ginger is really helpful too. The countries where people use turmeric in cooking on daily basis have very low percentage of Alzheimer’s disease. You are doing a great work👍👍

  12. Chilean mustard! Yes sir! Really hard to find but you can make it yourself with tons of turmeric, mustard seeds (obviously) grind it all together and add vinegar and a tiny bit if sugar. Delicious and the old school always said it helps with joint pain. Marinate that bbq chicken with it and it'll get crusty and amazing

  13. Thank you for this very informative video. I am starting to take turmeric, (organic one), as I have inner foot pain for some months now. I would like to know if tailbone pain can be related to the foot pain?
