  1. Thank you for suggesting fermented cabbage (sauerkraut). I love pickled vegetables too but wondered if maybe the pickling works against me when it comes to swelling of my finger joints. Is salt an issue for this condition? My rings won’t slip past my PIP Bouchards Joint anymore.

  2. I have both and right now I can’t walk. I get flares that are so pain and debilitating. It may show up anytime and in any body part. It’s such a waste of time when I visit my Rheumatologist and he squeezes each finger and then says it’s your osteoarthritis and unfortunately there’s no pain relief meds for it and no cure. Life has become hopeless. Not brings able to enjoy life pain free is the worst, becoming dependent on others is the worst and frightening, because people just really can’t relate.

  3. I recently got a small knot on one of my knuckles. It's a little sore and I didn't hit it on anything. I eat raw cabbage often. First I've had this in a finger. Maybe will try cooked cabbage or wrap a leaf around my finger, such as suggested in a comment below.

  6. I am 33 and for the past year I’ve been having lots of gut problems after having strong antibiotics in hospital, now I have inflammation in my joints. Doctors say there’s nothing wrong with me and want to put my on antidepressants 😢 I really don’t know what to do! Feel like my body is falling apart 😢😢
