  1. I found another of your videos showing this almost a year ago. It has made a huge difference in my daily life, as I am now able to open jars, stiff handles etc. and grab things more securely. Thank you!!!

  2. The tendon over this joint became painfully inflamed when I started motorcycling, largely due to the uncomfortable handlebar angle pushing my thumb out of its socket. After months of seeing several doctors and physiotherapists, and wearing a cast to prevent movement and supposedl allow the tendon to heal, and finally getting hydrocortisone injections into the tendon sheath from a top specialist in Paris, France, all without success, one day out of frustration I tried to push the base of the thumb towards the other fingers (with the hand the way you show, pressing downward rather than pulling towards the left arm). I heard a pop, and got instant relief. Seems like the thumb had partly shifted out of the joint, interfering with the tendon. This was over 30 years ago, I do the same thing each time I feel this joint getting uncomfortable, a few times a year. I'll try your method, next time it happens, and right now I'll check out your video on the cause of hand arthritis. Thanks!
