See how a Lumbar Fusion of the Spine works in 3D animation #backpain #stem #spine

A lumbar fusion is a surgical procedure to permanently join two or more vertebrae in the lower spine, eliminating motion between them. It is typically performed to treat conditions like degenerative disc disease, spinal instability, herniated discs, or fractures. During the procedure, bone grafts, implants, or screws are used to stabilize the affected vertebrae, allowing them to heal into a single, solid bone over time. The goal is to reduce pain, improve spinal stability, and restore function. Recovery may involve physical therapy and lifestyle adjustments to support healing.

  1. I am 23 years old. I had an L2 stable fracture and an L3 unstable fracture, for which doctors performed a canal decompression and fixation from L2–L3-L4-L5. It has now been 25 days since my surgery. I am pain-free and recovering well, but I often find myself overthinking about how the rest of my life will be after this😢

  2. I will be on pregabalin, slow release and breakthrough morphine, baclofen and cocodomol to try and ease the agony of severe spinal stenosis with bulging disc and ddd disease. Can't sit long, walk far.
    Almost bedbound at 53.

  3. The spine is a very important part of the human body, so before undergoing surgery, you must choose the right doctor. I have undergone surgery twice l5S1 so far under Dr. Saurabh Kapoor in Delhi, he is a doctor at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, but I am in a very bad condition now. Before the surgery, I was much better than I am now.

  4. Fusion's are not the answer. My brother is on surgery 5 now. Figure it out. Geez . My friend had her back done, stood up and her spine fractured above the fusion. I guess that is why they call it practicing medicine?

Saludos

  7. They ask you about the mountains. Say, “My Lord will blow them away with a blast.”
He who can develop mountains at the present time is able to do everything in his power at the present time..
Be of good cheer and do not be sad, and entrust your matter to God and say, “O Lord.”
