I cant see the video. It's just a black screen.
I have been suffering with arthritis in my hip for a year. I have taken multiple over the counter medicines and have gotten temporary relief. I started soaking in Epsom salt water and I cannot tell you the difference it has made. I soak for about 20 to 25 minutes every other night. I hope this helps someone.
Very good effort with an actual patient, thanks to you both.
I have those symptoms in my left leg, but probably not that severe. God, I'm getting old. I used to run walk and cycle a lot. That's probably my culprit. I must get it checked.
Beth moves very well to be moderate to severe.
YOU ARE A BLESSING. THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THE AMAZING CONTENT
Thank you for having a younger person with hip arthritis, it’s reassuring to feel I’m not the youngest by any means. She demonstrated a very good description too of what I can and can’t do anymore. Such a shock as it’s happened really fast to me.
Absolutely nice explanation !!
I have a double curve scoliosis with an upper curve 35° and a lower curve 38°. This is after having surgery 34 years ago for rods from T4-L3. I have severe pain in my SI joint and in my right hip. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting an SI fusion and a hip replacement soon.🙏🙏🙏🙏
I dont have too much pain in my hip joint, I can bend my knees without any pain. most of my pain comes from my left lower back to the left groin area when I attempt to do a sit up. what could that be?

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, so I have a full 'normal' range of movement in my hips even though I have bilateral hip arthritis. Doctor didn't believe I had arthritis til she saw the x-rays!
I was trying to see if I had arthritis or runners hip.. I’m in physical therapy for arthritis, but the therapist is saying from the range of motion and the exercises I can and cannot perform, that it maybe runners hip.
I’m really struggling with hip pain now and I’m 36. Dreading what it will be like in 10 years 😢
I think I have this arthritis. One thing I have too is a pain down the front of my leg that feels like if you scraped up your knee from a falll on the street. Anyone else have this?
Beth looks like she feels sorry for herself.
What is when hip is doing noise crack.
When you move
Can this happen in your late 20s?
Trust me you will know if you have it…..I have had one done (they messed it up) now the other is going but no way am I having that one replaced.
Can hip arthritis cause lack of reflection and pain in the knee? I had a hip replacement in my left hip 17 years ago and doing fine Now my right knee is extremely painful when I bend it back. After seeing your video, my right hip definitely has OA. Would a hip replacement fix my knee issue. I can’t put my sock on on my right foot.
Thanks for letting know what I really have
Can you get off the pain?
Physical therapy should always be the first thing you do
Spot on with the symptoms you explained! I recently had an MRI & x-ray of my left hip and my orthopedic surgeon confirmed I have moderate arthritis, hip bursitis and mild tendinosis. My chiropractor mid-diagnosed it as piriformis syndrome. Now that I have it confirmed what I have I’m better able to choose the correct stretching and strengthening exercises as well as other protocols to improve my condition and stave off hip surgery as long as possible. At its worse I couldn’t do a single leg-lift. It’s been 3 months since I developed hip paining (right around when I turned 60) and I can now walk 1.5 miles at a 3.1 mph pace. But no steep hills anymore for me. I continue to improve each week. In case this helps anyone I want to share what I’ve done or will be doing: I opted out of the steroid shot, but will consider PRP. I’ll also be doing 6 weeks with a physical therapist. I had 7 dry needling treatments, 3 shock-wave therapy treatments, and will take some anti-inflammatory supplements (Vit E, collagen, chondroitin, omega-3 and curcumin. I’m avoiding steps as much as I can. I plan to eat low carb to further reduce inflammation, and keep walking and doing stretching and strengthening exercises. Losing excess pounds will help my joints as well. I thank you and the other physical therapists who post to YouTube to offer help to those of us suffering with arthritis. It is much appreciated. Thank you.
How to distinguish hip problems from low back pain?
Hi Paul i'm a chartered physiotherapist (UK). Just interested with you using the term 'wear and tear'. Generally we are advised to not use this with patients as they may interpret it as the more you use it the worse it will get hence they become reluctant to exercise. When i'm sure you would agree whilst arthritis does progress with age it's not because you are necessarily using the hip more. Many thanks!
👍👍👍.Thanks Paul
Thank you Paul for explaining what Arthritis is. I never understood it before.
Very good sir keep on putting practical cases
Im convinced sitting brings this on. I got ALL of this after sitting on my butt
for all of 2020. I'm working thru it by standing up 10 min on the hour and walking
full stride for 20 step every Two hours. I get as sore as I use to from lifting weights
doing this ! So I recover the next day after some good sleep and the I go again.
Glucosamine and Collagen supps are crucial. I don't hit it again unless my body
"says" yes. – the key is increasing volume incrementally. – I also do ALL of the
exercises that you posted in your link.. If I overdo it by grocery shopping or any activity
like that. I'm fragged for 3 days & up to a week – As long as I dont over do it.
I find myself healing and improving rage of motion – No way am I getting surgery.
Great presentation, As Always Mr. Marquis – thank you Sir.
You just explained me to a “T”. 😀
